Background: He lost the ability to read and write, but not the ability to touch hearts.
Harry Teague's hands just can't stop talking, and they've got plenty to say. The stroke Harry suffered in 1990 may have slowed the words of his mouth, but not the colors of his mind. Since he first picked up the paintbrush Harry has become a promising and prolific self-taught artist with boundless enthusiasm. Harry's art brings smiles with his bright acrylics on mat board, using the entire surface, running his humor to the edge.
Harry enjoyed success in the business world in sales and as a business owner. The thrill of the conception of a business being the challenge he enjoyed the most. He always felt he was in control and could make things happen.
At 46 years old his world was changed forever. His body struggled through strokes and heart attacks that left his right side paralyzed and his reading and talking gone to somewhere else.
Five years later with encouragement from his wife and a new friend, Harry entered into his own self-taught artistic world of bright colors letting his mind and hand in unison create a thrill with each individual painting. Harry found control!
Harry and his wife, Diannia, reside in Cartersville, Georgia.
